Fr om day one, cruelty was the point.
Seriously, trying to comment or read comments on the FP has become essentially impossible.
T hese are sitting in the bottom of a rusting bin in the hallway. I wish I had a drive to inspect them.

I literally had two or three of those 5.25's.....but my ‘vi ru ses’ were on Verbatim and Maxell disks. They are probably in a box somewhere, along with an 8" relic.

Com e to think of it, I’d probably have to track down a machine just to connect a drive. I haven’t seen a serial port in years.

The comment section is so borked that I have to open it up in Chrome with an adblocker on full blast just to use it. (I’m a Firefox holdout, especially after Google long-abandoned “don’t be evil.”)
Sadly, the Kinja team I reached out to mentioned that it’s pretty low on the list of priorities. I guess the herb isn’t done ruining the hell out of this place after all.

It makes me wonder what's on that priority list, if not the main engagement driver.

Wow single sided double, these must have been, what 180k? I forgot SS was even a thing. Double sided was common even on Apple II though you had to manually flip them over

I have a few laying around:
Not pictured is a Gateway2000 4SX-33 which I acquired within the past year.
